Keystone Brew Pubs Bike Tour

September is a stupendous time to be in Summit County. The skies are blue, the trees are changing, and the temperature is a mild 70. With that in mind, it is a great time to consider a BIKE tour of our local breweries. Summit County boasts 55 miles of paved recreation paths that connect the communities of Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon and Keystone. This area is home to six outstanding breweries.

A great way to do the tour is to rent a bike from Christy Sports in Breckenridge. Be sure to ask for your 15% Key Club discount for your bike rental. From there your first stop is the Breckenridge Brewery. Follow that with a nice downhill ride to the Broken Compass Brewery on the north end of Breckenridge. After a nice downhill ride to Frisco make a stop at the Back Country Brewery. From there follow the path around Lake Dillon to the Dillon Dam Brewery. Your next stop would be Bakers Brewery in Silverthorne. With just a little uphill climb head to Dillon to try Pug Ryan's.

This is a 21 mile ride with just a bit of an uphill climb and a lot of downhill. You can return your bike to Breckenridge by taking the Summit Stage or continue riding around Lake Dillon on the Swan Mountain path. You can also return your bike to the Christy Sports Frisco location and take a shorter ride.
