Key To The Rockies Lodging Company - Keystone, Colorado

I own and operate Key to the Rockies, a property and rental management business serving the needs of Summit County homeowners.  The focus of this business is exclusively on providing short term and long term rental and property management, premier care of non-rental second homes and association management.

Back in 1988, I was one-third owner and operator of Breckenridge based Property Management Company specializing in the short term rental and management of luxury condominiums and homes.  I helped develop the business to manage 120 condominiums and homes as well as homeowners associations. Our gross sales in the 1990/91 winter season was in excess of $1 million.  My primary responsibility focused on operations, overseeing of housekeeping, maintenance, association management and budgeting.  As with any small business, the scope of my duties also include the day-to-day administrative duties, strategic planning and extensive financial management.  I also served as licensed real estate broker for the company.  Eventually, I sold interest in the business to launch Magliocchetti Inc. in June 1991.

I am proud to be affiliated with the Summit County Association of Realtors, Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association, a past member Community Associations Institute and more recently the Vacation Rental Managers Association. I am actively involved in our community and am eager to build a strong economy here the mountains of Colorado for our future generations to enjoy the beauty, vitality and energy that Keystone offers.

To that end, I find myself fly fishing for Big fish, hunting and enjoying the many winter recreational sports that our amazing mountain playground provides. I am also found involved in Plein Aire oil painting from time to time to attempt to capture the beauty of these glorious mountains.
