Check-In/Out Procedures

Thank you for booking with Key To The Rockies. Please review the below procedures so your check-in to Key To The Rockies is stress free! 
1. DIRECTIONS TO THE KEY TO THE ROCKIES RECEPTION OFFICE: Key To The Rockies Check In Location 23024 US Highway 6, Suite 202 Keystone, Colorado 80435 Please be careful when using GPS devices; as a good deal of the time they are not accurate. 
 Please do not attempt to check in at the Keystone Condominium Check-In or the Keystone Lodge. 
From I-70, take exit 205 (Silverthorne/Dillon/Keystone) and proceed approximately 7.5 miles east on Highway 6 toward Keystone. PASS the Keystone Condominium Check-In and the Keystone Lodge. You will go through the emergency signal connected with the fire station on your left and the ski resort will be on your right. After the emergency signal, look for Rasor Drive on your right. There will be two fluorescent yellow pedestrian crossing signs. The first one will be blinking and the second one is right before Rasor Drive. Turn right onto Rasor drive and immediately veer left. Take an immediate right into the Key to the Rockies reception office parking lot which is located in the three story, flat roof brown building. Parking is available on the east side of the building in the upper parking lot. 
Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. year round 
Check In: 4:00 p.m. Check Out: 10:00 a.m. 
Late departures are subject to half-day rates. Please call the office for more information. 
After Hour Check-in: CODE is 3 2 4 then turn the knob to the right; then the door will open. Your packet will be labeled with your last name and will contain keys and directions to your accommodations. We kindly ask that you come back to the check in location in the morning to officially check in and fill out paperwork.
Disclaimer: Occasionally, reservations must be relocated. Key to the Rockies reserves the right to change accommodations without notice up to the day of arrival due to unexpected emergencies, sale of the property or owner usage. Every effort will be made to provide equal accommodations. Key to the Rockies is not held responsible for any inconvenience, damage, injury or loss to persons or properties, directly or indirectly due to weather, negligence or wrongful act by outside booking agent or independent recreational company beyond the direct control of Key to the Rockies. 
Rates, Tax and Surcharge: Condominium rates are subject to local taxes and surcharges. Prices are subject to change. Total tax and surcharge rates are 10.775% for Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne and Ski Tip Ranch and 11.275% for properties located in River Run Village and East Keystone.
Forms of Payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cash and Checks are accepted. A credit card imprint is required upon check-in for incidentals. 
Payment Policy: An initial deposit of two nights lodging is required at the time of booking during the season. Full and final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival date or due 45 days prior to arrival date for Holiday bookings. Key to the Rockies reserves the right to charge credit cards on payment dates.
Cancelation Policy: A $50 handling fee will be charged on cancelations made more than 30 days prior to arrival. Should you cancel within 30 days of arrival, your vacation package is nonrefundable. For Holiday bookings, a $50 handling fee will be charged on cancelations made more than 45 days prior to arrival, and should you cancel within 45 days of arrival, your vacation package is nonrefundable. Key to the Rockies reserves the right to withhold full deposits and cancel any reservation if final payment is not received in compliance with our payment policies. 
Damages: Your unit is inspected and inventoried by our staff prior to your arrival. Upon departure, your unit will again be inspected and inventoried. Key to the Rockies reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for any damages or losses incurred during your stay, beyond normal wear and tear. 
Housekeeping Service: Prior to arrival, each unit is cleaned and provided with fresh linens, towels and consumable goods such as soaps, paper products and firewood. Published rates do not include daily housekeeping service. Stays of five to eight nights receive a complimentary towel change and trash removal midway through stay. Stays of nine or more nights receive a mid week clean, as well as towel change and trash removal service. Daily housekeeping is available. Please call for details.

Hot Tubs/Jacuzzi: If hot tub becomes inoperable during your stay, a maximum of $25 per day will be refunded. This does not apply to jetted bathtubs or to common area recreational facilities.
Pets: Pets are prohibited in all Key to the Rockies properties. If evidence of a pet is found in any property, an incidental charge of $250 will be assessed. The only property that is allowed to have pets at the home is Solitude Chalet. Guests must arrange to have pets there prior to arrival and pay a mandatory $30 security deposit.
