It was just my daughter and I so the studio was fine. It would be tight for more than 2 people. The location was fantastic for skiing. Cozy fireplace and nice kitchen. The people at Key to the Rockies were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tubs were very nice. suggestions: new blankets for the murphy bed and extra bedding. Also there was broken glass and other debris just outside the sliding door which should be cleaned up. We will use Key to the Rockies again!

Well the service was through Key to the Rockies which has always been very professional and courteous. The studio was very small, very surprised that the bed was a hideaway. The location was my first at River Run nice and convienient. What I liked the best was probably location, the underground parking and easy access to elevator; the least would be the size of this studio unit, very very small.

for avid skiers -- a very short walk to and from the gondola. Inside parking is a godsend. We actually spent two weeks in this unit. The murphy bed is not for everyone but we managed (mattress tends to sink towards the middle).. The kitchen is cramped and not well equipped for ones who want to eat in and the threat of having an inventory show up missing something is not well placed. Too many variables, i.e., small number of bowls (soup/cereal) compared to number of dinner plates. It would help if the refrigerator door was reversed; at least someone could get into it without having the cook move away from the range. Dining table chairs are all an accident waiting to happen (they need glue or some kind of strengthening). Despite 150W bulbs in the lamps it is still difficult to read in the space (darkish shades do not help). Blinds at the sliding door did not function initially; somewhat better after being worked on. They did, though, provide a measure of privacy (as did the large electrical terminal right outside the patio). Minimal closet space considering the extra linens and equipment stored there. Bathroom fan noisy; fan and lights work together on both switches. This was one of the first places we've stayed in where the bath tub did not immediately stop up when the water was turned on. A plus! This unit is advertised as holding 2 to 4; two are crowded. We stored our luggage in the corner past the sofa, stacking it. An oversize upholstered chair and coffee table take up a lot of space as does the armoire with the TV since it has to sit out about six inches from the wall because of the connections behind it.

I appreciate your suggestions regarding your stay in the Red Hawk Studio. I agree that if you are staying for 2 weeks in a studio it can be a little cramped! Although with avid skiers like yourself this is a small price to pay for a great location! Most stays in smaller unit like this are for shorter visits and that may be why there is limited plates and bowls. However we do require a certain number of plating for our units so I will check with your housekeeping team to make sure we are hitting those requirements. With the refrigerator door I will see if the homeowner will consider switching the way that it opens for a little more space in the kitchen. I will have our maintenance team go over and see about the dining room chairs. With the limited area in a studio, some basic items like back up blankets, humidifiers and fans do take up some space in the closet. I apologize for the noisy fan, but at least everything including the tub functioned as it was supposed to! Next time you come to Keystone I would love to tell you about all the great one bedrooms that we have available in the same neighborhood. At little extra space with longer stays goes a long way!
