We really enjoyed the condo. There were a couple things that the owners could do to make it near perfect. We left that information on the questionaire in the room. The only " bad " was the neighbors upstairs, very noisy. But all in all, a great weekend.

This was a nice place with pleanty of room for the price. However the decor was very 1980s (not that big of a deal) and the parking was horrible (a very big deal). This condo complex does not have enough parking. I always had to park quite a bit away from my unit because all of the spots near the unit were full. For this reason, I would not rent here again.

We had a late arrival, but everything was ready when we arrived. The condo was spacious and well designed with the bedrooms away from the living area, a great convenience for the early sleepers. The golf course was a stone's throw away and the area is great for walking and biking. Unfortunately several of the businesses in the area were closed for the season or open on weekends only, which is understandable in this economy. The location may be remote for some during the off season, but the peace and quite can be a blessing . THe kitchen cabinetry needs a little sprucing up & new hardware. ( I am a professional art restorer so I notice these things others may not) That being said, everything was very clean and serviceable. The Keys staff was courteous and very helpful with information from the booking process and throughout our stay.

We could not let our small child on the balcony for fear he would fall through the large gap between the bottom of the rail and the balcony floor. The gap is too wide it's NOT a SAFE situation. The rugs in the bathroom smelled like vomit - they should be replaced. The other family members at the reunion that stayed in the same complex had wonderfully updated units with BBQ grills on their safe decks with King size beds, updated furniture and flat screen tv's. This unit is stuck in the 1960's with old DIRTY furniture and out dated everything! For this price there needs to be a king size bed in the master bedroom. Either the owner or the management company or both should be ashamed of themselves for charging the same price for this unit as the other units in the complex. Absolutely NOT the same value as the other units. The owner should take a tour at what the other units look like and seriously consider lowering the price or updating the condo. Someone needs to make it a priority to repair the balcony. It needs to be made safe before another family rents this unit.(It's just a matter of time before a small child falls through that gap - just a warning!)Isn't there a law? The space should be no wider than the width of a soda can. Just a note VHS isn't made any more and either are cassette tapes. This is the year 2009.

We apologize that you were unhappy with your rental. We have individual photos of each of our properties on our web site for your review prior to booking. With that said, we keep the prices the same to encourage the owners with less bookings to update their property. We have addressed your concerns to the owner regarding the interior of the unit. In addition, we have notified the building management of the balcony gap.

We had a wonderful time. The condo was very comfortable. There were a couple of things that need to be fixed there but did not affect our use of it and I told the rental company about them when we left. The area is absolutely beautiful! The pool was great it was easy to walk by the river. My sons enjoyed the catch and release fishing. It was easy to get to other towns with lots of things to see and do.

We spent 4 nights at the Pines Condominiums in Keystone, Colorado. My first impression was that the place was huge! We booked unit 2100 as it included 3 separate beds and we did not have to use a pullout couch. For 3 of us, the condo provided ample space and the added bonus of 2.5 baths. The extra bathroom was quite large and included a few small racks for drying off ski gear. A great fireplace with provided wood helped reinforce the ski condo theme. The only disappointments were parking that was a bit of trek to the actual unit and the lack of updates in the condo (think 1980's). We had a great time and would certainly recommend the condo to anyone looking for a terrific value and plenty of room. This unit would certainly hold more than the 3 people we had. Pros -Extremely close to Keystone (less than 5 mins) -25 minutes to Breckenridge -Huge! -2.5 bathrooms is a plus -Great views off the balcony -Wood burning fireplace -Safe in room -Plenty of closet space -Drying racks for gear -Ski locker downstairs -Free wi-fi -Close to grocery / restaurant / shopping -Unit 2100 is very close to pool / hot tub Cons -Lack of updates to the kitchen / furniture -Parking lot can be a trek with ski gear -Check in / Check out off-site (but not far)

For the past 5 years our family has taken 3-4 day "mini-vacations" in Keystone, Colorado. We always stay at the Pines because it's affordable, convenient to all that we want to do and our children just love it! We take days trips each day and then come "home" to the condo to relax, share our meals together swim and hot-tub. We have stayed at other locations in Keystone, but always come back to the Pines. This is the first time we've stayed in this unit, we'll ask for it again because it was such a comfortable unit with a good floor plan. You should try it!

The condo was very nice. I went with three other people. There was plenty of room and it was very clean. It was also close to a lot of the attractions. We went white water rafting at clear creek rafting which wasn't too far away from Keystone.
