Key To The Rockies Policies

Payment Policy
An initial deposit of two nights’ lodging is required at the time of booking. Full and final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival date or due by 45 days for Christmas/New Years Holiday bookings. Key To The Rockies reserves the right to charge credit cards on payment dates.

Cancellation Policy
A $50 handling fee will be charged on cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival. Should you cancel within 30 days of arrival, your vacation package is nonrefundable. For Holiday bookings, a $50 handling fee will be charged on cancellations made outside of 45 days and should you cancel within 45 days your vacation package is nonrefundable. Key To The Rockies reserves the right to withhold full deposits and cancel any reservation if final payment is not received in compliance with our payment policies.

Travel Insurance
Key To The Rockies strongly suggests that you protect your vacation investment by purchasing travel insurance that is underwritten by CSA Travel Protection.  The cost is 7% of your total reservation and covers you from unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to cancel or delay your trip.  Play it safe by planning for the unexpected. Purchasing travel insurance provides coverage for baggage delay, theft or loss, adverse weather, roadside mishaps, medical emergencies, rental car damage, concierge services and more.  Travel insurance can be purchased on line or over the phone when you make your reservation.

Security Deposit Protection
Accidents happen, we know.  Relax and enjoy your vacation without the fear of losing your security deposit by purchasing a Security Deposit Protection plan underwritten by CSA Travel Insurance.  Key To The Rockies highly recommends purchasing this plan for $30 for the total reservation.  This plan covers your reservation for up to $3,000 of accidental damage.  Knock over a glass of red wine on the carpet, a ski accidentally breaks a window or the front door opens to quickly and puts a hole in the wall.  No worries you are covered.  The Security Deposit Protection plan is required for all reservations at the pet friendly Solitude Chalet.

Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, cash, checks and money orders.

Accommodation Rates, Tax and Surcharges
Condominium rates are subject to local taxes and surcharges. Prices are subject to change. Total tax and surcharge rates are 10.775% for Keystone and Dillon; with the exception of 11.275% for Ski Tip, Trappers Crossing, Settlers Creek, River Meadows, Timbers, Lone Eagle and River Run Village properties.

Housekeeping Service
Prior to arrival, each unit is cleaned and provided with fresh linens, towels and consumable goods such as soaps, paper products and firewood. Published rates do not include daily housekeeping service. Stays of five nights or more receive a complimentary towel change and trash removal midway through stay. Other housekeeping services are available for additional charge. Please call for details.

Disclaimer
Occasionally, reservations must be relocated. Key To The Rockies reserves the right to change accommodations without notice up to the day of arrival due to unexpected emergencies or sale of property. Every effort will be made to provide equal accommodations. Key To The Rockies is not held responsible for any inconvenience, damage, injury, or loss to persons or properties, directly or indirectly due to weather, negligence or wrongful act by outside booking agent or independent recreational company beyond the direct control of Key To The Rockies.

Pet Policy
Sorry we cannot allow pets in our properties.  The only exceptions are the Solitude Chalet and the Enders Summerwood Home, a $30 Security Deposit Protection purchase is required for reservations accommodating pets.

Check In / Check Out
Check in is at 4P.  You are welcome to call our office on the date of your arrival to inquire if the property is ready to be checked in.

Check out is 10A.  We ask that you return the keys to the office.  If the keys are not returned we will charge your credit card $10 per key at check out.
