Keystone Summer Event Schedule
Summer in Summit is truly the most beautiful season for outdoor fun and festivals. Keystone has a line up of fantastic and creative festivals for 2016. Getting a head start on summer planning and booking of housing is essential. The Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour: June 25-26. The Keystone restaurants pull out all the best recipes that include bacon and put wonderful sample sizes out there to tempt your test buds. The Bacon Bloody Mary's are out of this world!
Wine and Jazz: July 16-17 This outstanding event brings together the best of both worlds delicious wine and wonderful music. Not only are there classes to teach more about wine but there are also many vendors offering wine samples. The stage is always busy with new and old jazz favorites.
Art Festival: July 30-31 Over 80 artists from throughout the country come to Keystone for this juried event. Come ready to shop for that one of a kind piece of art or just browse and enjoy the beauty.
Bluegrass and Beer: August 6-7 The best bluegrass music around with be heard in River Run Village this weekend. You will also find kegs of some of the best craft beer around. Local Summit Brewers and many Colorado Brewers will be tapping and sharing their very best brews.This year marks the 20th year of the Bluegrass and Beer Festival, so make this the year that you join the fun.
Mountain Music: August 20 The River Run Village will be filled with great music, local food vendors and a wide variety of Colorado retail vendors. This event will include lots of fun activities for the kids as well as the adults. A signature fireworks show on Saturday night will light up the skies over River Run Village. A full day and evening of fun!
Oktoberfest: September 3 Of course great German food and beer will be the highlight for this event. But there is something for everyone included in the festivities. Kids will love the chicken dancing as well as free face painting, and a bounce house. Adults are sure to enjoy the Colorado craft beers.
Another fun event for this festival is the Das Bier Burner 5K that kicks off the day at 12pm. River Run Village stores and shops are having an Oktoberfest Tent Sale that day just to keep you busy getting around the Village.
