Get ready for a fun weekend in Summit County with the Breckenridge Ski Swap at the Riverwalk Center with proceeds being donated to Team Summit or hit the Sidewalk Sales in Frisco on Main Street on Saturday, September 17, 2011. After all the shopping, hit Breckenridge’s Oktoberfest where Munich meets Breckenridge on Main Street (roads are closed to cars) for a huge street party, traditional costumes, German food, Oompah and polka music, Bavarian dancers, children’s activities, a keg tapping party, 5K run and of course…Paulaner bier. The event starts on Friday night with a Brewmaster’s Dinner at the Salt Creek Steakhouse and then the strees are closed on Saturday and Sunday during the day for the biggest bash in Breck!
